Over 115 years ago, a group of people invested into the downtown community of Aberdeen in order to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. They invested into the future generations. Now it is our time to keep that Legacy going. We get the privilege of investing into the next 100 years. In order to maintain this beautiful church, so the next several generations can come to know Jesus and make Jesus known.
Several years ago, while evaluating our facility, the Trustees identified a growing number of repairs and improvements projects. Rather than addressing needs one at a a time, they believed it was important to develop a unified a vision for the entire church campus. This led to conversations with Station 19 and the formation of a visioning team.
Through prayer, discussion, and planning, three key areas of focus emerged: Unification, Hospitality, and Children & Youth Ministry. After many months of work, a single preferred direction was unanimously approved by the Administrative Board and Trustees and later affirmed by the church body on December 8, 2024.
